The Decision to Freelance

Yesterday I attended a local networking group and was given a 60-second opportunity to tell the attendees “what is Brandom Acts.” The exercise forced me to boil down my ramble to a few simple statements that represent the whole point of my “mission.”

After many years in marketing management…working harder and more (you know the story)…Something was missing. That something was the ability to independently decide the projects that keep my proverbial “cup” full.  From the stress arises Brandom Acts and the philosophy: “Create something that matters or it won’t matter what you create.” Translated, it simply means that my business model revolves around first helping organizations ensure their purpose is clear and relevant to their audience (brand strategy). With a brand in place, all the creative “magic” I am capable of flows. With a brand in place, creative is transformed into effective.

My clients can expect more than freelance. They can expect I know their organization as well as an in-house employee.
