In our busy professional lives, we tend to get deeply entrenched in the complex and sophisticated areas of marketing strategy. The more experience I gain, the more I realize that the accuracy of the “simple” tools in your belt can have a tremendous benefit to your business.

Case in point: Google Maps.

You move. Phone numbers change, product offering expand. Things change.
Google is an awesome machine, but sometimes inaccurate. Google relies on the user to interact with it to maintain its records. Set quarterly reminder to check your listing and be sure the simple tools are accurate.

Conducting a google search of your business is also a great way to see what others are saying about you! Google maps and your business listing(s) are tied to reviews. Capitalize on what your audience is saying.

Simple. Accurate. Useful. Duh.
